U.S. Figure Skating’s Athlete Development Department & Committee is excited to let you know about the 2014 U.S. Figure Skating National Program Components Camp, April 25-27, 2014, in Charleston, S.C.
This camp will consist of:
- An athlete training camp focused on developing skills in the Program Components area for athletes planning to compete at juvenile or higher in the 2015 season.
- An IJS Tutorial & Coaches Education program geared towards juvenile – novice singles coaches.
- An “Icemen” Track for all boys and men competitors to have the experience of skating in a group of all boys!
In addition, a parallel Parents’ Education track will be held all day Saturday & Sunday, April 26-27. Since many parents that attend are often involved with club leadership, several club education/leadership break-out sessions will be offered throughout the weekend. They will be lead by Susi Wehrli-McLaughlin, Senior Director, Membership. All sessions will be free to parents of attending athletes, or $25 for any club officer that would like to attend on their own (without an athlete).
General information and the registration link for both Athletes & Coaches can be found here. Or, download the athlete information details here and coaches details here.
